Weekly picture

... and it comes together with a thought.
When you get into any photograph website, you will find amazing pictures that take your mind to other places. However, when you want to understand how were they taken, you find yourself in trouble: most of the photographers master the subject of saying nothing by telling everything.

Let me explain myself: if I post now a nice picture of a house, with maybe some feeling transmitted, you may wonder: how much did he put into the post-processing (i.e. is this photoshopped?)
Values such as the f-number, exposure time, ISO, and the combination of all of them, are really important factors to take into account.

The weekly picture today is a house in Hennigsvær, Lofoten, last Easter holiday. The weather was quite bad, but the conditions were perfect to shoot this old wooden house.

As you have already experienced, I prefer to give all the information about the picture: this picture was taken with ISO 640, f=8, 1/320 seconds exposure at 18mm. focal length. The only post-processing I have done is adding a little bit of clarity to make the house more old-looking. In addition, I tried to be as close to the ground as possible to give a proper angle to the house.
