Silent, not idle

I have not been posting too actively since the season began, and there is a reason for it: I am preparing some time-lapse sequences that require time and work. However, I am not idle: northern light hunting is addictive, and during this season I plan to give more insight into technical issues regarding northern light photography.

Patience is as valuable as gold when it comes to this situations, and it will hopefully be worth the wait. Meanwhile, here you have a picture taken a week ago in Grøtfjord, near Tromsø. The night looked quite bad when I departed, but you can judge yourselves: it was worth being outside! On the positive side, we are still in the "warm" part of the autumn season, with temperatures above 0ºC.

This is changing little by little, and we are preparing our winter clothes already.

I hope you like this picture!
