Northern lights while skiing

Living above the polar arctic circle has plenty of upsides. For example, the amount of snow allows you to ski and enjoy the nature while sliding, and have some fun.
If you do that during the night, and the night is clear, you can ski while seeing northern lights!
Well, this is exactly what happened last Wednesday: I was skiing in Tromsø, when suddenly northern lights started to show up in the sky. Luckily, I had all my gear with me and I just had to run to the lake in the middle of the island (Prestvannet lake), which is frozen. I skied over the lake and dropped my equipment just in time to take this short time-lapse, as well as other pictures and videos that will be posted soon here.
The conclusion is quite simple: be ready for whatever when you are in the arctic!
